Hosting events
For event organisers who want to add and manage their own listings.
How do I list my event?+
You need to request to become a host first. Create your free Revelers account, then go to the top of My Plans and choose Become a host.
What is the difference between listing and suggesting an event?+
Event listings are for organisers who want to manage the full page. Suggestions are for anyone who has spotted an event we are missing. A suggestion only needs the event name and a useful link, and does not require an account.
Is it free to list an event?+
Yes. Creating an account, applying to become a host and adding an event listing are free.
How do I report an incorrect event listing?+
Use the report option on the event page, or contact us with the event name and what needs correcting. We will review it as soon as possible.
Being a member
For country fans who want to make plans and be part of the community.
Is it free to become a member?+
Yes. Creating a Revelers profile and using the community features is free.
Can I browse events without becoming a member?+
Yes. Anyone can browse the event directory. Create a member account when you want to save plans, mark yourself Going or Interested, join meet-ups or connect with other members.
What can I do with a member profile?+
You can keep track of your plans, see who else is going, join meet-ups and send connection requests to other members when it feels right.
Are my contact details shown to other members?+
Your private contact details are not shown on your public profile. Connection requests are mutual, so private connection details are only shared after both members accept.
Hosting meet-ups
For members who want to help people meet before or during an event.
Who can host a meet-up?+
You need to request to become a host first. Create your free Revelers account, then go to the top of My Plans and choose Become a host.
How do I create a meet-up?+
Open the event you are attending, choose the option to create a meet-up and add the meeting details. Your meet-up will be reviewed before it appears publicly.
Do I need a WhatsApp group?+
No. WhatsApp is optional. Members can join the meet-up, see host updates and use the notice board directly on Revelers.
Where can I manage a meet-up I host?+
You can check its status and manage your meet-up from the Meet-Ups section in My Plans.
