Black Stone Cherry
Black Stone Cherry bring their thunderous blend of Southern rock and blues-soaked riffs to the stage, promising the kind of high-energy, guitar-driven show that has built them a loyal following across the UK and beyond.
Kentucky roots, global reach
Formed in Edmonton, Kentucky, by childhood friends Chris Robertson and John Fred Young, the band grew from small-town gigs into a Roadrunner Records signing and a live album recorded at London's Astoria. Influenced by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cream and Muddy Waters, and with deep ties to The Kentucky Headhunters, they've built a sound rooted in Southern rock tradition but built for arenas.
A show built on big tours
Known as much for their touring pedigree as their records, Black Stone Cherry have shared stages with Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company, and headlined Download Festival in 2013. Expect a set full of muscular riffs, soulful vocals and the kind of crowd energy that comes from a band built for live performance.
