Black Stone Cherry The Celebrate Tour
Black Stone Cherry bring their trademark blend of Southern rock grit and hard-rock muscle to London, a sound forged in Edmonton, Kentucky by childhood friends Chris Robertson and John Fred Young. Drawing on influences from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Muddy Waters through to Cream, and with deep roots in The Kentucky Headhunters' family tree, the band have spent over two decades building a reputation as one of the most formidable live acts to emerge from the Southern rock scene.
From Kentucky Bars to Arena Stages
What began as local gigs around their home town grew into a Roadrunner Records deal, a self-titled debut album, and a homecoming show in front of 1,500 fans. A live record cut at London's Astoria marked their first international tour, and the band went on to share stages with Whitesnake, Def Leppard, Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company, as well as headlining Download Festival.
What to Expect
Expect a high-energy set built on thick riffs, soulful vocals and the kind of chemistry that only comes from a band who started out as friends. Their live shows have long been the thing that sets them apart, and this outing continues that tradition.
