Black Stone Cherry - the Celebrate Tour
Black Stone Cherry bring their Celebrate Tour to Rock City for a night of thunderous Southern rock, gritty riffs and big, anthemic choruses.
From Kentucky to the UK
Formed in Edmonton, Kentucky by lifelong friends Chris Robertson and John Fred Young, the band built their sound alongside Ben Wells and Jon Lawhon, drawing on the legacy of The Kentucky Headhunters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Muddy Waters and Cream. After building a loyal following at home, they signed to Roadrunner Records and released their debut album in 2006. A live record from a sold-out London show followed, along with arena tours supporting Whitesnake, Def Leppard and Nickelback, and a headline slot at Download Festival - cementing their reputation as one of the most formidable live rock acts to cross the Atlantic.
Who it suits
This show is built for fans of hard-hitting, riff-driven Southern rock and blues-tinged hard rock, as well as anyone who enjoys a loud, high-energy live show with plenty of crowd interaction.
