Black Stone Cherry - the Celebrate Tour

Formed by lifelong friends Chris Robertson and John Fred Young in the small Kentucky town of Edmonton, Black Stone Cherry grew from local gigs into one of the most respected acts in modern Southern rock. Joined by Ben Wells and Jon Lawhon, the band drew on the influence of The Kentucky Headhunters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Muddy Waters and Cream, forging a sound that blends blues, hard rock and Southern grit.

From Kentucky Clubs to Arena Stages

Signed to Roadrunner Records by 2005, the band built their reputation on the strength of their live shows rather than radio play alone. A self-titled debut album and a triumphant homecoming show in front of thousands set the tone for what followed. Their live album, recorded at London's Astoria, captured the energy of their first international tour, while UK arena dates alongside Whitesnake and Def Leppard, European shows supporting Nickelback, and a headline slot at Download Festival confirmed their standing as a formidable touring act.

Expect a set built for a big room: driving riffs, soulful vocals and the kind of unpretentious rock showmanship that has kept fans coming back for two decades.
